At the Dr Vishnuvardhana Memorial adjacent to Abhiman Studio – spread on two acres of land there was flood of activities – flood of people and rain of offerings for the needy people.

The beautifully decked memorial place of Dr Vishnuvardhana had attendance of visitors, fans, film industry personalities from 8 am on 18th September 2012.

At least there were 15 stalls from various NGO, Rotary, Lions Club, BGS hospital for all kinds of treatment for the disorder in the health. One of the patients treated for elephantiasis was seen at this place. A number of beds for blood donation were also found.

Dr Vishnuvardhana Fans association arranged for ‘Anna Dhana’ to all those who came to this place. Journalist colleague Babu Dinakar book on ‘Anna Nammanna’ a book on the opinions of fans of Dr Vishnuvardhana was released at this place by Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana and Anirudh.

Producer K Manju donated the automatic wheel chair specially made and used in ‘God Father’ Kannada cinema by Upendra to one needy lady physically handicap.

Minister V Somanna, Producer Vijayakumar, Pankaj Narayan, Saurav, Snehaloka team took part in the event. It seems the cycle Jatha that was planned from Basavanagudi National College had some problems to take off.
